What is AlphaLab?

AlphaLab is a mobile app that lets you build and backtest trading strategies using real market data. You can compete with friends in weekly contests to see whose strategies perform best.

Is this real trading?

No. AlphaLab is for educational purposes only. All backtests use historical data, and no real money is involved. We do not connect to any brokerage accounts.

What platforms is AlphaLab available on?

AlphaLab is available on iOS and Android.

How do contests work?

Each contest has a set universe of stocks and a time period. You submit a strategy, and it's backtested against the contest parameters. Results are ranked on a leaderboard.

Is my strategy private?

Yes. Your strategies are only visible to you. We do not share individual strategies with other users.
